Magic Poem by Brian Rihlmann

Magic

A song drifts
through my head,
and from the mental echo
of her voice,
singing about shattering loss,
from that shadow of sound,
alone,

I shiver,
my skin erupts
with goosebumps,
and my eyes
fill.

I defy
any brain scientist
to ever explain it.
