Make Sure

The truth is knocking at the door
Of all the lost and blind
The foolish proud the child unsure
And those with self in mind

Receive The Christ receive your sight
Receive a brand new name
Be baptised in His Liquid Light
Receive His precious Flame

God’s Holy Ghost will light the way
Will comfort and will guide
Restoring all who’ve gone astray
While burning filth inside

Be baptised in the death of Christ
Let self find quick demise
That through the portion sacrificed
To second birth you’ll rise

Yet take good heed be truly warned
Escape the judgement sword
Make sure Salvation’s Light has dawned
Make sure that Christ’s your Lord

For when He’s truly Lord and King
His word would be your rule
You’d soon beware which song you’ll sing
You’ll play no more the fool

You’ll come to church but not to rest
Not only to receive
You’ll come with what The Lord has blessed
That others may believe

We have a date with Christ to keep
God’s work requires haste
So no one’s called to sit and sleep
Nor precious time to waste
