The things you do
Differ from what you say.
I know you care for me;
You told me that day.
One day you show feelings,
The next I'm ignored.
You can't close me out,
Just totally shut the door!

Why? Are You scared?
Scared to let others know you care?
You deny everything,
Say I don't mean a thing,
When deep down I'm your everything.
Long nights spent awake and alone
Debating to call and see if I'm home.
You know I'm there, waiting by the phone.
