Making Of A Rainbow... - Poem by Mehreen Tahir
The rain falls outside,
And my heart is like a raindrop,
It falls down,
It crashes into the deep darkness,
Of nothingness,
But the presence of,
Shadows of the past,
Shattered hopes,
And broken dreams,
Silent cries,
That go unheard,
In all the noise that the other raindrops make,
My heart weeps for itself,
And with time it stops,
When the sun reflects off it,
And gives a coloured smile,
Be it upside-down!
