Manchester Lullaby Poem by Sebastopol Espumoso

Manchester Lullaby

Rating: 5.0

I'm sorry that love seems to be losing to hate
I'm so sorry that sometimes heaven refuses to wait

We should come together, smile, laugh and hug
It shouldn't only be after a tragedy has struck

You can't silence the music
and you can never kill love
You may think you are winning
but we will never give up

There are now so many new stars lighting up the skies
Brightening everything around us
Like they did in their short lives

Yet evil goes nowhere, in the end it won't win
This great world that we live in, will be beautiful again
