Many Will Come (1)

Play not the fool with Jesus’ flock
Beware what seed you spread
Think twice before you start to mock
Or say, “The Lord has said”

God’s time of grace is growing short
His day of judgement’s nigh
It’s time to spread the true report
Spew out the devil’s lie

It matters not how good it feels
Or what we think we’ve done
It isn’t you; who saves or heals
But Christ! God’s risen Son

Beware who come in Jesus’ name
God’s children to deceive
Who treat salvation as a game
Because they don’t believe

We’re not to lead God’s children fail
Nor walk our selfish path
For soon we’d find ourselves in jail
To face the coming wrath

Some prance around in foolish pride
Babbling to and fro
But if God’s Spirit’s not inside
To hell is where they’ll go

When children come God’s face to seek
Don’t teach or lead them wrong
As tender plants they may be weak
But God Himself is strong

The Lord will bind! them with their lies
He sees the cheat and fake
Together with the prince of flies
They’ll burn within the lake
