Married To Pain Poem by Ashlyn Brena

Married To Pain

Rating: 5.0

She stood there in her blue jeans,
With a few books in her hands_
And tears running down her cheeks.
She's tired of her love life.
Her number of ex's is counted by scars.
'Love is pain' she can testify.

It's all in promises, unfulfilled promises. Betrayals, broken trust and wasted time are her rewards.
She tried looking for help but, they all said it'll be fine.
She concludes happiness as part of fiction she reads about.

She doesn't even enjoy the love making, Is this how rough sex is?
When he cums he spits on her face.
She'd be left alone to dress up and glow, then try and make fire out of snow.
She hides it all behind her painted smile.

Is this what they meant when they said love is pain.
Her body is full of bruises,
She has become his punching bag,
She no longer feel the pain.
She's now used to it,
Coz he does it again and again.
