Massacre Of The Innocents Poem by James Fitzpatrick

Massacre Of The Innocents

Rating: 5.0

Entombed, by a chronic Phidias,
Chained, by a weakening Kratos,
Plagued, by a ‘Pandorian' Evil,
Comforted, by a Reddening Hermit,
Destined, by the Quill of Montaigne,
Mannered, by the 'Sophical' Martyrs,
Sacrificed, by the uncontrollable,
Prometheus is slain by a ‘Guernican' Bull,
Driven by a tenebrous rage,
Reflected, by the mirror of princes….
