Maybe I'Ll Have A Nightmare Poem by Rebecca Stansfield

Maybe I'Ll Have A Nightmare

Creaking of something; I can't tell.
A baby in the night?
A dog is barking so at your creaking,
Through my window tonight.

I could close my window of a hallow man's voice,
Increasing in the creaking,
Of something which I cannot see-
Where in which controls the creaking.

Is a ghost outside 'a creeping?
In my garden square?
Which scares me as the echo sounds,
Of footsteps over at my garden square.

And cars and windows have voices,
That fly into my window spare.
Of creaking ghosts in my garden-
Creaking through the air.

If you will please decrease your creaking,
For I am trying to sleep!
Only stop if you are not who I,
Will dream of when I sleep.

I know a ghost you in my garden square,
Are not who I of shall be dreaming,
And ghost you're getting louder, angrier.
And keeping me from dreaming!
