Maybe She Is Right Poem by Karin Holloway

Maybe She Is Right

Maybe she is right -
Regulation rigor mortis -
I cannot go I cannot leave
It was stupid to think so.
I am too honest with others
While I deceive myself.

She calls you a jerk -
I hope she's wrong.
She sees within things
That I'm still without.
Patience - wait for everything
For it will come. The knock
without sore knuckles.

You're fun to fancy with
A fling, a flight above flowers-
All my lie I want to fly -
But solo. I can't go with you.

You must leave that I may love again.
You must leave to become more of you.

Let's live for now.
