Me And My Dad Poem by Marianne Keplinger

Me And My Dad

Just a little girl
Smiling all the time
Daddy, Daddy come play with me
Her eyes lit up, as he teaches her how to tie her shoe

Her pigtails in all
Bouncin to and fro
As her face is about to glow
Lovin life and taken the show

He holds on as she rides her bike
Oh, honey watch out for those spokes!
Letting go but cautiously awaits
Will she fall or stride on?

Seeing his face light up
She inside began to know
He does love her, loves her so
From then on, she did shine

Here comes the ball
Will she catch it or will it fall?
She tries to focus with all her might
Ball hits the glove, shew....it went all right!

His surprised reaction
Her brave attempts
The pitch is good
HOMERUN! Confidence and Pride.
