Melted Poem by Eros Andress

Melted

Sacred, I speak.
Worried, I think.

Words rot.
Thoughts drown.
Shadows crawl
And pull me down.

Still afraid.
Still unheard.
Mouth like stone,
Heart like a slurred
Half-dead word.

Break the lies.
Break the bones.
Break the trust.
All that remains
Is desire and lust

Dust gathers.
Ash moves.
Nothing answers.
Nothing proves.

Worried, I think.
Scared, I speak.

Silence opens
Wide and deep.
Oblivion whispers
Come and sleep.
