Melting Poem by Justin Gildow

Melting

Look at us
Just about to be boyfriend and girlfriend
So many feelings and emotions flashing in our eyes
And our hearts are pounding furiously like vibrations from a sledgehammer

We get in close
Close as we can get
And we put our arms around each other passionately
And squeezing each other so hard until the emotions of love come pouring out of us like a fountain or waterfall

As we hold each other
I can tell you want to cry
I can see that in your eyes
Tears are forming
I can tell while the way I hold you might be a bit uncomfortable
But you tell me you wouldn't want it any other way
Saying to me that feels so extremely wonderful

Looking at the floor
As we hug and embrace to death
We're slowly turning into a puddle
We're melting
But we don't care
I can hear you breathe so softly
Your head rests on my shoulder
And your tears finally comes
Some dropp from your cheeks and run down my back
Some of your tears also fall into our puddle of love
As we continue to melt together under the forces of love
And the feelings of our emotions

We're finally waist up
Half melted now
Yet we don't even care if we are
We're in love
And that's all the matters

I'm going to enjoy melting all the way with you honey
I really am
