Memoirs - Poem by bhavin palan

THE BACKDROP WAS JUST PERFECT
LONELY BRIDGE AND A LONELY SOUL
STROLLING ON, I FELT THE BREEZE
COLD BUT STILL FRESH..
THE FAIRWORKS OF NATURE
HAD AROUSED THE SUBCONCIOUS ME
LOST IN CONTEMPLATION, I MOVED ON
IN THE UNEXPLORED DIMENSION
I COULD FAINTLY GAUGE
SMILE HAD RETURNED TO ME
THE COLOUR AND THE FERVOUR MADE SENSE AGAIN
LIFE WAS BACK IN FULL GUSTO
STILL THE SUBCONCIOUS ME FELT EMPTY...
SOMETHING WAS STILL MISSING
THE SUBLIME HEART SAID.
THE BREEZE KISSED MY WET SKIN
I COULD FEEL THE UNTAMED FRESHNESS OF NATURE.
HOW LUCKY COULD I BE
LESS DID I REALIZE
THIS BENEVOLANCE OF NATURE
WAS NOT EXCLUSIVE TO ME.
IT WAS FOR 'HER' TO
I SAW HER
AS SHE STOOD HOLDING THE RAILING
LOST IN THOUCHT SHE SEEMED
I INCHED CLOSER
BUT MY PRESENCE SEEMED INCONSPICOUS TO HER
DRENCHED IN DRIZZLE
SHE SEEMED SO PURE, SO NATURAL
SHE WAS SVELTE, MAGNETIC
EYES SO INNOCENT
SOMEHOW HER NOSE SEEMED TO BE THE EPICENTER OF HER BEAUTY
THE EVENING SEEMED TO GLOW
IN RADIANCE OF HER SKIN
HER SHEER FLAMBOYANCE DID ME IN..
I COULDN'T RESIST MYSELF
I GAZED, I NOTICED
EVERY MINUTE EXPRESSION SHE MADE
HER PRESENCE
MADE EVERYTHING ELSE SECONDARY..
SUCH WAS THE SIMPLICTY IN HER STYLE
THE BEAUYTY WAS UNMATCHED
...
THANKING THE SUPREME..
I REALIZED HOW LUCKY HAD I BEEN..
TO WITNESS SUCH A DAY..
NOW,
NEVER DO I FEEL EMPTY
NOW,
I NOW KNOW WHAT HAD ELUDED ME..
'LOVE'
