Memories Poem by Cyclopseven R

Memories

The past has never left me
nor have i liberated the mind
from the clutches of the demon
the scars of the past hold deeply into my heart,
the pleasant memories but shades
always flimsy beyond the trickle of tears
tears that roll down, cool the earth
so she may bear the weight of my burden
relieving me of strangulation
so i may relive once again the drama of life.
