Memories Poem by talema lawrence

Memories

I charished every moment, remembered every kiss.

My heart took a tole on my body an realized i cant go on like this.

So much i have thought about, just impressed by your charm.

My clouds were no longer cloudy i could see right into your arms.

Something had struck me and called my name a million times.

I took a step back and realized that it was no longer right i had to climb.

I found my savior when I reached the gates.

So much to the world you thought I would hate.

My time has not come, I have been pushed back to cloud nine.

Never in a million years could i ever call you mine.

Kiss and hugs.

Love and shrugs.

God placed me in this body to achieve not decive.

So I look upon your life and I say when will you stop.

I took it upon myself to forgive and forget, not to top something I cant stop.
