Little sparks in the dark of night,
Memories, shining, ever so bright.
Faces we love, voices we hear,
Moments held close, year after year.
Lessons we learned, both bitter and sweet,
Joyful dances and stumbling feet.
Connections we made, a gentle hand,
Building a bridge across the land.
Will they fade when we reach the sky?
Will earthly pictures simply die?
In heaven's light, so pure and free,
Will we forget what used to be?
The Bible whispers, knowledge will grow,
Beyond what we struggle with here below.
Dimly we see, a blurry glass,
But there, understanding will truly surpass.
Memories change, no longer a weight,
No guilt, no sorrow, sealing our fate.
Tears will be gone, and pain will cease,
Replaced by wholeness, perfect peace.
Perhaps we'll see, with clearer eyes,
How earthly moments helped us rise.
Not burdened by regret or fear,
But knowing God held us ever so near.
The past transformed, made new and bright,
Memories bathed in heavenly light.
A tapestry woven, love's design,
Forever etched, eternally divine.
