My heart sings loud and clear
It's singing with memories of you
A song so painful and bitter
That it makes tears flow down too

I remember your voice as clear
As if it were just yesterday
That I heard it in my ear
I can't believe it's gone away

I still read your emails every day
I long to have the chance to say
Forever, forever and a day plus one
I miss you more each and every day

That'll never change, no it won't
Forever I miss you, forever and a day
As long as I miss you more each moment
At peace my heart will never lay

In my deepest heart I say your name
And dream pictures of your beloved face
Those pictures make me cry some more
And always they cause my heart to race

If only it could be as it was
But we had our day in the sun
Brightest light shining clear
Though it really wasn't much of one

Still I want to say to your ears only
I miss you my dear, I miss you dearly
I wish this pain would go away
That this hurtful it wasn't nearly

But if this pain is a sign of love
Then so gratefully I will accept it
If it ties me to you for one moment
It is worth it, each little bit
