Memories On The Road Poem by Shipra Agarwal

Memories On The Road

The wind threatened to blow me over,
I stood tall and spread my arms.
Its cold gush became a warm embrace,
A friend - found, cherished!

The clouds sent their arrows hurling,
I lifted my face up and smiled.
The rain drops quenched a thirst unknown,
A poem - remembered, relived!

The mountains roared and twisted angrily,
I pumped up the volume of the radio.
They heard my song and smoothened the road,
A fear - beheaded, befriended!
