Memories so cherished
Even though you've perished
Memories will always stay
Even as you lay
Eternally in sleep
Forever I will keep
Those moments so deep
Thoughts in a heap
I twist and turn but cannot sleep
So I just lie alone and weap
But my sorrow drowns the pain
Sleep washes over my dreary face
