Memory Of Mother Days Past - Poem by Miriam Ano

Mother oh mother where have you gone
Far away to your heavenly home
Mothers day will never again be the same
Im left here with a broken heart calling your name

Who will comfort me when I'm down and out
Who will understand what I'm all about
Who will wipe away my tears
Who will help me face my fears

Memories of your love will comfort me
Memories of your touch will set my fears free
Memories of your kindness will let me know I'm ok
Memories of your smile will brighten my day

Enjoy your day mother, even though you are far away
Enjoy your day mother in that heavenly place you now stay
Miss you so much and wish you I could see
This long distance 'I love you' is your gift today from me
