you tried to kill yourself last night
you took a pencil an bit it tight
you put the blade into your left arm
you said you didn't do self harm
as i stood there watching you
you'll never know the pain i went through
you wrote a letter telling me of
why you were doing this it was for love
the love that you had lost that day
made you want to go away
you made me cry so many tears
you filled me with so many fears
thank god you didn't do what you wanted to do
cause then i would have no one to look up to
im so happy your still alive
without you i could not survive
your the only one who cares for me
without you what would i be
i would be nothing id have no life
then i would have to take the knife
