Mercurious Union Poem by Dr. Abhilasha

Mercurious Union

Rating: 5.0

Well, you may avoid
This concrete corporeal frame
But what shall you do
Of my quintessential form?
The mercurious union
Denied to our love
Was not the fault of some cold impulse
But it was one of us two
Who left the quivering drop
Eager to mingle n loose it's identity,
To emerge anew, fresh
Indomitable n fierce like sun
To bring the spring eternal
With all its rainbow colours.
Buy then the serpent appeared
And I sulked away
From the flesh!
