Merry Christmas Poem by Hesbon Nyamweya

Merry Christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Lets go to Bethlehem, the census is on.....
There we'll lit the holy candles coz the lamb is born.....
In the night, the East stars will guide us on the way.....
For by him our sins are about to be washed away....
So don't forget the presents of gold and myrrh for Immanuel.....
As we celebrate Christmas and his birth we'll dwell.

Raise your spirit for blessings from Virgin Mary....
Open your hearts to dine with the poor so they also merry...
And visit the sick, waifs, orphans and widows....
For this, our deeds in joy wont stray from Jesus' shadows.....
So recall not to drink and drive....
Or other way round to stay alive.

Sing to the todlers a Christmas jinglebells....
For their thirst of righteousness be quenched in his well.....
Lets heavens open by the praising of his name.....
As we lit the street in xmass trees and our hearts with his holy flame....
For like his birth was meek and modest in a manger......
So should we celebrate in simplicity to avoid danger.

It's a time to sharew and freely give.....
It's a season for his birth we set to live....
It's a journey to elop from sin like from Herod Joseph elopped to misri...
And spread love, peace and gospel ministry.....
So the lamb can be exaulted for our next year's victory......
