Merryland Of Joy Poem by Akshita Kohli

Merryland Of Joy

Blow blow the wind of magic blows
Across the scintillating meadows
Caressing the redolent roses of love with coruscating dew
White fluffy clouds, O what a pleasured foe,
Casting its beguiling spell over the alluring sea with its heavy bosom, going so up and low
Serene solemn moon in its silver shone,
Accentuating the iridescent plumes of a peacock
singing aubade for its rising mate,
And as the two meet in the azure and purple morning sky
I find myself in an utopian ecstasy
Where heaven open up its gate
Where merry stars sing and dance in the blithe sky
Oh to all my sorrows, venomous bitter pain I bid a bye!
Rises the bright gold and crimson ombre sun burning like quenchless fire
Radiating my fervent whims and desires
Fragrant orchids swaying and quivering in the pansy
Playing with tassels of crystal white snow, I fancy
Rain cascading the tranquil lake
Making rainbow tinted ripples so bright
Fondling pink petals of lotus so delicate, pure and light
Luminous fireflies unveiling a speckled spectrum in crepuscular dark caves of my mind
Painting my soul in subtle shades of blissful eternity,
Exuding a canopy of stars
Singing a song of sorrow and life
Of all enchanting memories, O what a pleasured delight!
