Message To My Soulmate (Part One) Poem by samson ogbeewi

Message To My Soulmate (Part One)

Rating: 5.0

Dear soulmate
I had stumbled on the path of another
Disguised as you

(This thing called fate
Has caused my soul to mutter and wonder:
Why favour only few?)

My heart crouched
In curiosity
My emotion breaks
Its viscosity
Until suddenly,
I beheld some irregularities:

It was the glint in her eyes,
The shape of her thighs,
The way that she walks,
The glitch when she talks...

It was the colour of her hair,
It's gracefulness in the air,
The pitch in her teeth,
The daintiness of her feet...

It was the size of her lips,
The swing of her hips...

An imposter she must be
At this point I had to flee

Turning again to fate
To bring me my soulmate
