Message To The Memory Poem by Marisa Eutsler

Message To The Memory

Rating: 4.5

Broken and limp as you drag me into the past.
What comes late from long ago no longer has meaning, yet I’m chained to this post and you make it all last.
You allow me to suffer, and keep bringing attacks.
The capacity to forget is what lacks.
Closing my eyes as I drink down the sorrow.
Still no good, there will be a tomorrow.
Please stop it from coming, please let me be.
If only the light is all I could see.
A message to the cause of all this tragedy, to you my friend, to you stupid memory.
