Metallic Heart - Poem by Elliott Paul Woolhouse

Shrapnel ripping me apart,
Shots being fired at my heart,
Time it doesn’t fly?
I JUST WANT TO DIE!

I don’t feel,
I don’t kneel,
Death, ha I don’t fear,
Metallic Heart, Yeah!

Men are falling,
Bodies their hauling,
Shot and dieing,
BY THOSE FLYING!

I don’t feel,
I don’t kneel,
Death, ha I don’t fear,
Metallic Heart, Yeah!

I don’t feel,
I don’t kneel,
Death, ha I don’t fear,
Metallic Heart, Yeah!

My life is now ending,
Heaven, hell, still pending,
Don’t know which I’d rather
NOW I SEE THE FATHER!
