Midnight Poem by mariyamah meiz

Midnight

at midnight i sit and i wonder what will come of my next day
thinking of the triles that I've faced to make it to that time
the time of peace, thought, and serenity
nothing bad can happen at midnight
the relieving sigh of a hard days work, a calming feel over comes the room as the breathing of a sleeping child lingers about.
nothing more to do but dream, to release stress, to explore your mind.
not till tomorrow, a day that never comes, the day of completion, the day of strength. the strength to help you past tomorrow.
rest is what is needed for the mean, for the greedy.
the tears are dried, and the pain is relieved at midnight.
