Midnight midnight coming fast
Yesterday has long since past
And yet I lie here wide awake
What must I do what will it take
To close my eyes and slip away
And have my dreams lift me away
To wake up when the sky is bright
Feeling happy free and light
Instead of staying up all night
And lie and say that I'm alright
I struggle whit it every day
What's there to try or do or say
Now I have a choice to make
Hope I choose right for my sake
Midnight midnight coming fast
I shall have peace at long last
