I was walking alone
Under a sky so grey
Then I heard your calm tone
Ready to sweep me away

You smiled at me
Asked for my name
Made me kinda happy
I felt a bit of shame

You continued with your flirting
I continued with my blushing
You kept on complementing
I felt the temperature rising

Next day we talked for hours
I was definitely a complete mess
Then you knelt, gave me flowers
And asked for my sweet yes

We laughed when we're together
Mourned when we're apart
We believed we are forever
We believed we'd never part

The happiness I felt
Is something I've never felt before
Into emptiness I can melt
I'm wanting you more and more

Then the night ended
Morning came
I felt your presence dreaded
I no longer know your name

They're not what they seem
You're not what you appear to be
Was it all just a dream?
But they seemed very real to me...
