'Mina, My Bittersweet Poem by Melissa Hurst

'Mina, My Bittersweet

'Mina so dear
left me with thoughts queer
And I suffer
with my lips puckered
No kiss received
My cheek deceived!
Sly Devil came forth during the cold
Serpent tongue bold
Asking of my welfare
Yet fully aware that I was impaired.

'Mina was only in heat
I was the feat
'Mina now aloof
My tongue bathed with 80 proof.
Tears upon my cheeks roll
I have paid love's toll
So let me pass
Permit me to finish this glass
bitter-filled and swirling with reciprocation's ash.
