Mind Expanding Poem by Mary Champion

Mind Expanding

I set off across the virgin growth
that covered my life's path.
I left behind
a trail burnt by experience.

Midway through my journey
I stumbled, falling painfully on my heart.
In so doing
I made a surprise discovery
that bound your lives to mine.

Through some kind of quantum entanglement
whatever we do,
wherever we are -
the action of one
impacts on the other.

Understanding of this phenomenon
is slowly taking shape,
leaving me to reflect on this -
how spacious is the human mind?
