Mine - Poem by Heather Hill

i'm not trying to be selfish
I just want something that I can call my own
Something to hold late at night
While I'm waiting for 'the one'
He promised me forever
Forever I will wait
Until he shows up
I hold my pillow tight
I want something that I can call my own
He is mine and all mine he's my best friend and lover, like no other i will love him until I die

written 2005 or 2006
