Minnesota Winter Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Minnesota Winter

The sun forgot to wake today,
Just grey and hidden icy rays.
Snow is flying, wind is loud,
A blizzard's wearing winter's shroud.

We're tucked inside, but safe and warm,
Sheltered from the raging storm.
No footprints in the drifting snow,
Just nature's wild and icy show.

Minnesota's winter, strong and bold,
A story in the wind unfolds.
We watch it dance and twist and turn,
Old lessons that the season learn.
