Mint Tea Poem by Thomas Dooley

Mint Tea

Rating: 5.0

The sun goes down; the night has come
Wondering where will my sleep come from
It won't be from bedtime stories or loving kiss on the forehead

Mint tea warm with a sent like a dream.
A resting mind fresh and free

The moon comes up; a cool breeze dance above the trees
They are the audience feeling it every move
A kind of confidence I wish I could have too

Mint tea warm with a sent of peace.
Refreshing sip for you and me

The stars are there all the time; slowdown experience life
The ceramic cup warming the hands
Just the same for every man

Mint tea warm with a sent of purity
A moment of rest is what this world needs
