Mirror Poem by Lilly James

Mirror

This battle you fight is hard
This waging war
Who`s going to give in first
Your body or your mind
Will you finally exept
The face you see in the mirror
Or will you eventually die
You know I think you`re beautiful
I`d do anything for you
But I can`t watch you starve to death
You can`t ask that of me
I won`t stand here watching you die
It breaks my heart to much
Did you not get it after being hospitalized
I mean surely after the third time
You had to realize this needs to stop
I wish you could see what I see
Looking at your beautiful face
You`ve never been fat
I`m sure you`ll never be
This war you wage agains`t yourself
Needs to find peace
In order for me to sleep sound at night
Do you not see how much you`re hurting me
To watch you suffer is the worst pain
To watch you slowly dying
Hurts everyone so much
So please hear me out before it`s to late
I don`t want to loose my best friend
To this awful disease
