Mirror Poem by Vincent Topp

Mirror

I watch my own face dissolve into others
Past generations the dna string is unravelled
Previous lives I have lived too, it’s there staring back in their eyes
I implore the memories and feelings to come through me
The successes, The failures, The praises, The curses
Let the story go from tales to truths
Do you really judge me yet
Or is my time to be judged when I’m the second face to appear in the mirror.
