Misconception Poem by Rodney Russ

Misconception

The mind allows you to see things clear
But our conception of reality is nowhere near
What it appears to be
For we can hear voices in our head
From which we interpret
As Rhymes from beyond the dead
Our mind has been mislead
Like a visual rage of fire
Which cannot be diffused with water, only desire
Not beyond the dead
That this mistaken idea has been lead
This visual tire fire is misunderstood
Stripped the mind of its very manhood
It could simply be wrong judgment
Our interpretation of contentment
A blunder of the mind the definition
The vivid description of misconception
Misconception allows the mind to be deceived
Deception allows misconception to be achieved

You misinterpret what you see, feel, hear
This is proven quite clear
Your mind must enter this stage
With a yearning of constant rage
Conception and the mind are the same brotherhood
One must be understood
Once this is achieved
Reality and conception will be one again
which will make the thought process
No more a sin
