Miss You - Poem by robyn selters

miss you
strands of remembrance
feint scent
on the breeze
stroking my cheek

days pass
like sentinels
mocking in their austerity
as I wait
and long for your touch

for connections were torn
swept away
in moments of haste
to be regretted
as heart weeps
