Missing, oh how I long for thee
A piece of me, lost to the sea
My heart aches, my soul in pain
As I wander, searching in vain
Your laughter, your touch, your voice
Memories that make my heart rejoice
But now they haunt, they tease and taunt
For you are gone, and I am left to want
The warmth of your embrace, now a distant dream
My reality, a constant stream
Of moments shared, now just a blur
As I long for your presence, my heart does stir
I walk the streets, we once roamed
Hoping to find the love we owned
But it's all gone, like the wind it flew
Leaving behind memories, bittersweet and true
I see your face in every crowd
But you're not there, and I'm not allowed
To hold you close, to call you mine
For we are no longer intertwined
Missing, a void that can't be filled
My heart, forever chilled
For you were my missing piece
And without you, I'll never find peace
But even in your absence, I hold on tight
To the love we had, so pure and bright
For though you're gone, you'll never be far
For you'll always live on, in my heart.
