Poem by Raj Thampi

Worry not about me my love
I do not miss you this night
Intoxication is my partner tonight

Empty glasses
With marks of solitude
Sings in rhythm-
Of this emptiness
Oh, I can survive one more night
Without your touches

This intoxication hugs me so tight
Crawling legs are not walking towards you
Don’t be worried;
I am not yet fallen anywhere…
Touch of this, burning sensation
It could not be your touches,
But this liquor…
Hugging me, close-overwhelms me…
Spreading through out me,
It keeps me in a tight sleep…
Oh, I miss you my love…
This toast, filled with my blood
Let me name it on you…
