Missing You. Poem by melinda mackey

Missing You.

Missing the way you hold me,

with that warm embrace.

Missing the way you talked,

to me face to face.

Missing the times we shared with one another,

day by day.

Wishing you would have stayed.

Stayed in my life.

We were going to be husband and wife.

But that's all down the drain,

cause you put me through so much pain.

Even though we both moved on.

And you moved back to Peru,

as strange as this may sound,

part of me is sitting here,

missing you!
