It's dark and cold
It's you I want to hold
No blanket or sheet
Just our body heat
You are warm to the touch
I love it so much
The love in your eyes
Is to my surprise
I watch as your chest fall and rise
The rhythm of your heart beat
Is a sound so sweet
It calms me as I listen to it repeat
