Mistake. Poem by Miranda Stoltz

Mistake.

I'm laying down sound asleep.
I think of you as i weep.
As the dreams go.
By and by.
I keep them going.
So i won't cry.
When morning comes.
I will awake.
And won't remember my awful mistake.
Then night will come.
And i will go.
Back to.
My damp pillow.
I remember the day you left.
The day i was mad.
The day you were unhappy and sad.
One day i hope i forget.
My awful mistake that lead to this.
Someday i will get out.
Hopefully before i shout.
