There's a smile on my lips,
And a tear in my eye.
Your kiss makes me laugh,
But your words make me cry.
There's a song in my heart,
And a curse in my head.
With you, I'm alive,
And without you I'm dead.
There's a warmth in my soul,
And a chill down my spine.
But I'll give you my all
If you'll be all mine.

Love, I want you to stay,
But I need you to go.
My heart's saying yes,
But my head's screaming 'no! '
I want you to be here with me;
I need you to be gone.
I just want to be with you,
But I need to be alone.
