Drowning in the tears of my disappointment and regret that I was ever wrong
Choking with the words of truth that won't let me breathe till I lie
Hiding from the ghost of yesterday on the dark side of the sun
Shadows playing games with my head askin' me:
Broke your heart can't fix it?
Lost your soul can't find it?
Hurt your feeling can't heel it?
Leaving me with doubt and confusion
When all I can do is close my eyes and wish it to away
