Mommy Poem by Gloraly Gomez

Mommy

</>Dear mommy,
Your words come at me
Like a tsunami
Across the sea
I want to yell that
'It's just not fair! '
But I can't do that
No matter what
And if I scream at you
I don't know what you'll do
Except say 'Oh, that's so not true! '
That's something that's not new
Just like my name
Becomes the one to blame
When you feel shame
After losing another game
I'll always wait
Until the time is great
To have our last debate
Because it's you I hate...
