Monism Poem by Eugenia Dubinova

Monism

Rating: 5.0

You are me,
You are a fragment of me,
So come to me.

Find your way through pain and glory,
Through joy and rebirth.
Die once, die eternal times,
But do so in play.
Do so without fear,
With complete courage.
Do it with tears, for they are my tears,
And I am with you in them too.

All golden meadows are our meadows,
Where you, as a child, bathed in reeds and fragrant grass.
And all broken hearts, lying on cold stone, alone tonight,
Are our hearts too.
For we share one heart, holding the totality of our emotions.
Through all windows, we gaze upon the world together,
For I see through your eyes,
Else, I would not know how to save us from despair.
And all the celebrations, all the sorrows,
Are ours, so we shall realize them as such.

So come to me
When you begin to see me as you.
For now, you are me unconscious,
Yet forever, you are me—still divine and lovely, as everything we made is lovely.
For now, let all things teach you,
And then, we will burn this bridge, for we won't need it anymore.
