Monomania Poem by Shamim Ahasan Ahmmed Kabir

Monomania

Shamim AA Kabir 23/10/2016

Madness confined me to one subject
I have got Monomania
I only ran after light
I move to catch the Fireflies
Moonlight Stricken me
Everyone heard my lunatic speech
I was confined alone in me
And my silence commentary.

Butterflies made blinking in my hand
In the mid-day
Under the dazzling sun
I caught the redolent light
That glitters on the mars land
And reflected my eyes.

Laying on the ground
Me and my desolation, alone
I run after fireflies
But could not navigate the line
In the race, I was left behind

I was alone in the dark under the mist
None gave me company
Madness confined me
I have got Monomania
Finally, I'm a monotheist.
